Hi I have a 11 month rotwiler that I took out in car yesterday day to get my car fix and I was planning on walking him back home as soon as he saw a young girl walking in school uniform he started lunging and barking and snapping and my my came out of shop to help and he went at shop man and we took him around corner to calm him down and he saw 3 more school kids and he started again lunging and mum stepped in front of him he mouthed her and nudged her away and she gave him water to calm him down and we got picked? We have noticed lately that things have been thrown in the yard and there is a alley way at the back yard and a section that has a bit of bindi and spiking this in grass that is could be jumping over and yesterday we noticed that we stand at back gate and he even barked at us could kid be the reason my rotwiler don’t like people

Welcome to the forums!! These is a very serious problem!! Don't be walking him anywhere till you get some professional help. You need to find a trainer that works with working breeds and have him evaluated. He could be a danger to the public. How much training do you do with him each day? How much time does he spend out in the yard by himself??? Has he been to any formal training classes?? It could be kids are teasing him? or something else?? Has he been socialized well?? How is his obedience in the home? Does he listen. For now till you can get some help look up NILIF (google) and start implementing this into his life. He needs to work for everything and be listening to you.
was puppy he went to vet check and we have my my friend come over and he fine with them and one time we had a person doing work and he was in cage and it was all day and we walked him on lead ro do wee and he went over to the man and he was okay and this was all in our yard. He has a rottweiler female 8 month and i play with hin twice a day and go out to feed once a day and training once a day. He does bark a lot at night but front gate he fine but back gate he bark worse i think that where the kid tease him

He does list with treat and he know sit stay lie down and he very treat oriented but he doesn’t like dropping stuff he better outside of house usually
It sounds like he is an outside dog, not a good combination for a good pet. They need companionship not just left on their own.

A lot of houses get broken into so that why they are outside but they are so gentle to us and when we go out to do stuff like washing we pat them. and I make sure I play with them to wear them out and they get attention aren’t rotwiler working dogs(guard dog) they prefer to not be around strangers that why you can’t take them to a dog or people park
And my rotwiler don’t like anyone outside our house
They don’t mind them coming inside yard

You can absolutely take a well trained and socialized rottie out in public (e.g., to a people park).

Unless your rottweiler was trained in cooperation with a professional, he is probably not a reliable/safe guard or protection dog (and at 11 months I would not expect him to be, regardless). He is just on the path to becoming a dangerous and unsocialized "outdoor" dog. Did you do any socializing with him during his earlier puppy months? Has he been exposed to people/kids other than your immediate family and the friend you mentioned?

You need to work with a professional trainer who uses balanced or positive methods, before someone gets hurt. And very good idea about using a muzzle for now, but be sure it is properly fitted so he can pant while out on walks, and condition your dog to wearing the muzzle so it is not another source of stress for him.

Outdoor dogs that are not regularly socialized can become over protective. His world is your yard, and you've encouraged him to protect it. You also mentioned "dogs", which means there may be a pack mentality in which more aggression exists to establish a pecking order- there is always a hierarchy.
If he's never known anything else, then when you take him out of the known environment of his yard, he becomes confused and hypervigilant to protect you. He's doing his job. The problem here is that the rules of that job are not well defined.
If there are kids teasing him or throwing things at him from outside your fence, that's an extremely dangerous situation. If he gets out, he may maul a kid, because he associates small humans with mistreatment.
I agree with what others have said- he needs training and socializing, preferably with the help of a professional trainer. If you want him to be safe on walks, then walks need to become much more routine so he learns that there's a much bigger world & not everyone is an intruder.
A properly trained Rottweiler can be taken anywhere safely.

Just my lil ol 2¢, FWIW.

Im just not good at spelling words sorry.
I will try to train my rottweiler to be better on walks and i think he is more reactive than aggressive. This is my mum and dad dog so i have no control if we get professional training

Not upset... Realize that Rotties get a bad rap sometimes because they're misunderstood, often as a result of insufficient training on the part of the owners. Owning a working breed carries the responsibility of understanding the dog & taking proper care to ensure the dog is trained well enough to interact safely with humanity.

When we hear of a young Rottweiler showing aggression towards schoolchildren, we see a potential disaster in the making & give advice accordingly to prevent harm.

It's the owner's responsibility to raise a safe pet, or if that's not possible, to keep that pet from harming innocents.

How old are you?? How many dogs do you have? How many dogs live outside?? This is a terrible way for a working breed to be living. Unless you have millions of dollars worth of stuff outside....you don't need a dog guarding your yard. You need a dog that is living in your home...this is where your dog will be able to protect his people. Most Rottweilers will bark to notify you that there is a stranger in or near your home. That is enough of a deterrent. You have allowed your dog(s) to make their own rules, and choices, by having them live outside. They need training by you , or you need to get professional help, or they need to be rehomed. Right now your dog is a liability ...and a danger. Your parents seem to have no clue. They could lose their home if someone gets bitten and they get sued.
