Max is 54 pounds now. The vet said he looks real good and is very healthy. He gave me some chats to look at.He said I can look at these and try and keep Max looking like a #4. That just means keep his weight down. He does not want to see him over weight. He says people that own rotts don't keep a good eye on the way they look. He said people always think the bigger the dog gets....the better off he/she will be. Not the case. Keep them in check and they will live a long time.

You will want to keep in mind that rotts are susceptible to to various cancers, and not neutering him only increases his chances. Are you going to be willing to take that chance with your rott you love so MAYBE you will have a puppy whos personality is similar to his in exchange for his health? Think how you would feel if he got cancer later on...I wish you luck, and hope things go well.</BLOCKQUOTE>
