Has any one in here ever dealt with this? The first time I ever heard of this wasso many years ago,it took months to find out what it was.

Today it is common around the Great Lakes.

I ask because, in my rescue group for bulldogs, we have a pup beingsurrendered by his family. His mamma died from blasto. After talking to our rescue vet I was told we can test him with titer and smears. BUT the fear of bringing in any problems does exist! In rescue we have own dogs that we want to keep healthy.

Have any members here dealt with Blastomycosis?
