my 2yr old thinks its fun to torment cats.and she has sence she was about six months.i think it was a learned thing,we had 2 hybreed wolves that she was around a lot as a pup,and they of coarse loved to chase cats.the wolves are gone now but baily is chasing a cat every chance she can get.. does any one have a sugestion on how to stop this? i would like to take her to moms house who has 2 cats that are not afriad of dogs and i dont want any thing bad to happen

We have six cat at my house and only one of my three rotties was raised with them. Untill they all learned to get along we had to watch the dogs when ever the cats would be within sight of the dogs. WE could always tell when the dogs were getting ready to chase after cats. Thats when we would distrack the dogs get their minds off of chasing the cats. I would use a squirt bottle with water in it to get their attension just spray them with water. They were more curious about where the water was coming from than to watch the cats. Now all we have to to is give the command no cats You probably dont need to use the water like we did I think the biggest thing was the fact that we distracted the dogs before they would start the chase.
