This is the D-litter.It shows the puppies at 7 weeks and you can see the different coats they have.It is just puppie coat and will change.

They are from left to right.

Top row,GRCH Double-A,Dabria,GRCH Daphney,GRCH Daisy Lou.

Bottom row,Darby,Donavan,GRCH Dudley,Dear Genna and GRCH Dora Mae.

You can see some of the puppies collars,I crochet? a collar for every puppy and that way I know whos who.I go thru alot of yarn and cameras,as I take pictures for their baby books every week.

This picture also won 3rd place (in some photo contest)

Their just adorable! How'd you get them all to sit like that? What does that mean when you call them the D-litter? I can tell you are very proud and have every right to be!
Puppie pictures always warm my heart.</BLOCKQUOTE>

There are four people on the outside helping hold the babies there until she said move, and then she shot the picture.I have a whole book of shots she took.It was the first time I tooka litter to be photo graphed. It was fun and they did very well.

All my litters follow the alphabit. The first litter was A-Artur,Agatha,Alexandra and Alexia,

Second B-Bradley,Beauregard,and Beatrix.

Third C-Cornelius,Clementine,Clarence,Contessa,Cleopattra,and Clarisse.

Fourth D-

Fifth E-Elwood.

Lots of breeders do this, the Germans also do this.It helps when doing pedigrees. It also helps to keep track of how many litters a breeder has had.I purchased my first Rottweiler in 1990 so it comes out to about one litter every 3 years.I'm hoping for a girl out of a friends litter which goes back to my A-litter.If not I might breed Daphney again(I don't really want to breed her again,as I like to breed my girls only once).

Do the people that buy them have to keep those names ?

There is a new puppy palace
just opened up across the street
from me so we went there
today to see the puppies
..... They want $ 900.00 for
the rottweiler they have they say
he is C A V K C
???? not sure what all
that means but $ 900.00 seems a
bit much .... after all
i read about puppy mills
thats where they come from .....

the most i have ever
seen one in the paper for
was $ 500.00 I know people
need to make money in retail
but just seemed a bit much
to me ...

Well thats sure a good
looking group you have there

That's a really interesting! I never knew that. I have seen on the internet someone who mentioned a litter with a letter in front of it before but I didn't have a clue what that meant. It sounds really geeky but I love learning new stuff

I only name the ones I keep, everyone who buys a puppy from me knows that the dogs name has to start with a certain letter. They can call the dog what ever they want, but the registered name has to start with that letter.Double-A is really Buster. He was named Double-A because Father was Abel and Mother was Agnes.

I don't know what CAVKC stands for,but 900.00 in way to much for a puppy.

I sell my pet and show puppies for 500.00.and I even give a few away(as long as My puppies are in good homes, thats what matters the most to me)I breed for my selffirst and then place the rest.It should not be about making money.

What cute babies Donna. They seam to be sitting there waitting for you to take the picture,
It took all four people to hold them there. The puppy on the bottom middle is Dudley and he jumped off a couple times.I will have to post the last picture she took of all of them.I would love to do this again if I ever have more then one puppy.

The person who took the picture does alot of puppy pictures.
