Hello there, I just wanted to know what you all think of the rotti's tail, my rotti, Bronx, has his tail intact, we got him like that from my fiance's uncle who used to breed, this was the second litter he did not dock the tails on. Personally I like them without the tails, but I love my Bubbu, and its actually probably good he has his tail cause of his broken growth plate he had as a pup, I am assuming the tail helped him with his balance after the operation to pin it back together, a very expensive operation. I could be wrong about that, but I just like to think it. lol

I just did not want to dock his tail at an older age, I assume its got to be painful.

But lots of people who came to see the pups did not want them cause they had tails. I think a Rotti is a Rotti, tail or not.

any opinions?

My bronx's tail is always up and curled, I hate that it knocks everything all over the place, but like I said I wasn't about to get it docked at such an old age, I guess I made the right choice. I wouldn't want to make him suffer any more than he already has with the leg thing and all.

It would be weird to see a boxer with a tail, interesting.

People actually do seem to want to see him alot, it may be cause his tail is always wagging when he see's ppl. I love him either way, but if he didn't have a tail a lot less liquid would have absorbed into our carpet. lol.

I always liked them without the tail, I just see it as its cute to see a stub moving, but now that I have had him its ok with. He's our baby either way.

The breeder we got bronx from has 2 with tails and about 2-3 without. He isn't breeding anymore though which is too bad, they loved their dogs, but they had a little incident with some lady coming over and they think she had parvovirus on her shoes and they lost 2 baby pups, 1 survived, I am just glad I got my Bronx as soon as he was able to be taken home, or he could have gotten it too. What a horrible thing to have happen to such caring and loving breeders. They were so so upset, not about losing money, about losing 2 pups. But the one who survived, Zuess, is actaully the biggest of the bunch. Go figure.
