And here I was worried abut a boiled marrow bone that Sheera got a hold of and chewed a few crumbs off of!!

While I don't have a rottie (yet), I am familiar with this level of destruction. My malamute mix has eaten:

1) Steel toed boots
2) A roll of paper towls
3) A leather couch
4) Our fence (We had to screw galvanized hog fencing to the wooden fence to keep her from breaking through it)
5) The sprinkler manifold (pulled it right off the side of the house)
6) The internet cable that leads from the house to the feeder line (3-4 times)
7) Tennis shoes
8) Pens

She was super destructive as a pup. Now she's mellowed out some. At least I'll be prepared and well-seasoned for when I become a rottie owner.

My boy Jaeger will destroy something of my husbands right before he is about to deploy. So far is shower shoes, socks, boxers, and a bag. Funniest thing he has chewed up was a small bottle of super glue. His mouth was tacky and he ran up to me like mom what is wrong. Luckily he had a wet enough of a mouth and some chewing on a rawhide or bone helped get rid of it. The vet said that was his first case with super glue

if they eats slugs it can really gum up the mouth. one of my mom's dogs tried to eat a slug once. never again!
