Hi everyone,
I have a new rottweiler puppy, well, not actually a puppy. She is 8 months old and her previous owner didn't want her after she was no longer small and fluffy. My rottweiler of 10 years died the day after Thanksgiving and I have been missing her ever since. I fell in love with this pup from the moment She pup her paws on my shoulders when I was sitting on the floor with her and laid her head down on my shoulder. This also saved her from being a kennel dog. I have only had her home for 2 days so I have a lot of issues to work through. She still roams through the house and will not settle down. I put her in her crate and she settles down. I know that a kennel is what she is used to but I don't want her to spend her entire time in a crate. Any suggestions are welcome. I'm anxious to read the tags from everyone. Has anyone ever used the steps that fit on the hitch of a jeep. If so how did they work. She goes up steps like a champ but refuses to use a ramp. This is me and my baby. She is still getting used to everything so I will have more exploits later. Thanks for letting me join. LAter.
