For sure lean is better. When I see those fat butterball Rottweilers that the owner's say have not an ounce of fat and are all muscle ...I cringe. This is such an 'easy keeper' breed. They get fat on air...hahahaha! My last 2 Rottweilers once fully grown never ate more than 2 cups of top quality kibble per day...and even that was a struggle in the winter when we did not get out as much.

Great pictures of your two. :)

Hi Gent's, have to ask ya Ronnie is that a female on the back of the couch?? Good looking pair. my current male is very similar ,, maybe taller at 141lbs at the vet last week.

As far as fast, I have Not seen a faster breed. I went out to start an old car and raised the hood, Wham, my boy grabbed 2 rabbits in a split second= No exaggeration. .

Hi, RottnDave,
Love the name. Yes Dixie is my 20 month old princess. Two rabbits in seconds. That's good ( and fast ). Here in Canada, our rabbits change direct in mid-air. My dogs ignore rabbits. The prey is any squirrel or chipmunk. Walk right past a rabbit just feet away.
