Big difference between a mini Poodle and a Rottweiler. What makes you interested in the breed? Have you been around them, or lived with one?? Sorry to hear about your Poodle....it may be good to get another one...no hair to worry about. Rottweilers do shed!

Hi, A week ago my mini Poodle passed away. I am very disappointed as It was my best companion in many dog shoes. But Now I have decided to find my new companion. Firstly, I have decided to god for Rottweiler, but I have just found some of the top dog breeds.
I just wanted to hear from you. If anyone have the experience of any of these breeds. Let me know which will be the best replacement for my Poodle. Thank You!

the first thing i need to know, when someone expresses interest in a rott, is more about the person who wants the dog. what about rottweilers interests you? what is YOUR personality like? what is your level of experience with dogs?
you could be a person that has never owned any dog, and rott might be a perfect fit for you. or it could the worst idea ever. it boils down to your personality and ability. i would say, make an honest assessment of yourself first. my opinion is, you should be an Alpa personality and have the ability and area to work with the dog. also your lifestyle needs to looked at. some times it’s a great idea; sometimes a poodle/dachshund/similar is a better idea.
i can tell you from first hand experience with poodles AND rotts, they are completely different. i can’t really give you an honest answer to your question without knowing you.
