this is last October. Bailey on the right passed a month later at age 11.
This is the quintessential Rottie pic showing how loving this breed is.

Awwww....nice to see the picture! I lost my Jemma at 11 1/2 years of age also. They never do live long enough.
One thing I do want to mention...without hurting your feelings. Don't let your kids sit on your dog! I know it makes a cute picture, and some dogs don't seem to mind. After volunteering for rescue....we had a few really nice, stable dogs that came into rescue...because the owner's kids sat on the dog...and the dog snapped, or bit the kid.:( After that the owner did not trust their dogs...and they needed to be rehomed. Some dogs are in pain, or just having a bad day...and cannot take a kid sitting on it, or bugging. My mantra is "don't set them up to fail".
