My Rottie

I read a add in paper about needing to find a 9 month old rottie a home. So we called and went to see it.I fell in love 1st time i seen her. Her mom is AKC and her dad is a rescue. When I got her home she would not go threw a door way. I could not beleive what i was seeing. With a little bribe Igot herin. She would need to go potty and yes once again I was trying to get her threw a door way. So the next day I took her to the vet to get her shots and a check up to make sure all was well and see what i coud do about getting her over the fear of doorway. I thought the vet was going to roll in the floor laughing. She was not going threw that doorway for me or anyone. She pulls on her leash and puts her foot on it as to say "nope I am not going to go in there and you can't make me". I had to pick up my 95 pnd rottie and walk just inside the vet door with her. And to top off this the vet looks at me with a staight face and says she is to fat and needs to lose 10 pnds. We were to go right in to the exam room, but this intailed yet another doorway. I was just not going to make her do it. I handed the vet the leash and told him to go for it. Needless to say he did all he needed to do right there in the waitting room. I am not sure what they had done to make her this way but i am glad to report she now walks in and out doorways as is she owns the place, and loves to ride to the vets office.
