I have 1 Rott. names Harley. right now he is on house restrictions. He got attacked by the nextdoor neighbor's pitbulls. They sb's ripped off his entire right ear.
Hey glad you joined us and of course....Sorry to hear about his attack and I hope he's doing good....sounds like a sweetie to me poor thing. Well, keep us posted on how he's doing and good luck
Harley's doin ok today he was trying to go outside and lay down but the vet says he has to be inside until his wound heals completly. My mom moved him into the livingroom.
Hi everyone I am also new to this website I just got my rottie, his name is Brooklyn and he's just 1 month + 1 1/2 wks old. Poor thing was sick the past weekend took himto the vet at petsmart. He had 2 different types of worms, hook worms and tape it is disgusting! But thank GOD we caught it on time. With the medication the vet gaves us for him and really made him feel alot better, before he wasnt really energetic nor eating right, but now he is all over the place
. This is my actual first time having a pet and glad I chose my Brooklyn. Hope to know new people here and share our thoughts.
Ok first off welcome to the fold hahaha. Anyway I'm glad you joined us but did I read that right he is only 5 1/2 weeks old? Why on earth was he seperated from his mother and littermates that early. That is just ridiculous puppies should not be taken fom their mother that early unless there is some medical reason. Don't get me wrong I'm not getting on you but what the h*ll were the people that you got him from thinking? I'm glad you got him straight to a vet but that is still too young sorry I just get upset at people who do that to their puppies. Again like I said not at you at the people you got him from. Well anyway good luck with him and please try to socialize him as much as possible since he isn't learning everything he needs to from his mom. And again if I seem too come on strong it's just, that isone of my (pet) peeves with people who breed their dogs. Edited by: missy30
It is true what you say missy30 about the breeder, I'm not at fault, this is my first time actually having a dog of my own and I love him. I am and will take care of him. He is a dog and I'm sure he has his natural instincts.
You could very well have domanance issues with that dog.Missy and I are on another list and a girl got a puppy at 5 weeks and now at 5 months is having alot of problems.Get him to training as soon as you can. That will help.
