Any idea what this is before I bring her to the vet? At first I thought the martingale collar was rubbing fur off so I bought a rolled leather collar and it wasn't getting better so I've been keeping the collar off and it still hasn't changed... it isn't anywhere else on her body. She seems completely healthy otherwise. Thanks in advance

Maybe allergic reaction that morphed into secondary skin infection? I'd say get to the vet.....
What kind of allergic was that? Hope you're vet find out on how to settle that infection. What kind of food you provide for your dog? Try to change his food or observe your dog everyday and don't let her go to the grass. Try to make some homemade food for her and observe her within a few days. I want to share some useful article about the allergic in our dog. Here is the article about the best dog food for dogs with allergies It seems very helpful to me hope you can learn new information there too.
I'll look at that link now, thanks. The vet isn't able to see her until tomorrow. She had been on a raw diet but started refusing organ meat, no matter how I prepared it so I started doing half kibble half raw then went to all kibble in the last month or two. It is a good kibble with high ratings. The hair started falling out before then and I'm not sure exactly when the rash itself developed. Hopefully I will get some answers tomorrow.
If it was a food related allergy would there be a rash in only one place? It seems like it would be all over if that were the case... she had been spayed shortly before the hair loss became noticeable... not sure if the two could be related in any way. Hopefully I'll get some answers tomorrow!
It was a skin infection that the vet thought was caused my moisture

Welcome to the forums! As this thread is almost 7 years old....you should start your own thread. Give us some details of what is wrong with your dog and add some pictures if you can. I'm going to close this zombie thread now.
