This is a new title that AKC has.It is a good place for beginners to start.As the dog is on leash at all times and you can talk to your dog.

Will look into this for blu, Dallas minds better but blu is the one we are working with. He has AKC papers, I am suposed to be getting his petagree(sp) but am yet to see it. I may just have to send for it.

Dallas can also get AKC papers as soon as she is spayed you can get an ILP from AKC to do performance events.


Just because a dog is born with AKC papers does not make it a better dog.Lots' of people breed dogs with papers.AKC is just a registery.They do not guarante that the dog is a good specimen.Unless his parents are them selves showing and working dogs with health clearences then he just has registered parents.But again it is better then being registered with the CKC.


If Dallas is a better worker then you should start with her.Learning is better when you have a dog that is really willing to please.Then you can take what you have learned(knowing all the miss takes)and train the boy.
