Reversal Sniff

I had a discussion with someone on the other board about dogs sniffing their humans. I wasn't going to make a post, but I decided to this morning because it still kinda makes me laugh. So here it is:

We all know dogs sniff, and sometimes or maybe all the time, they sniff their humans. So my question is, do you ever sniff them back? NO, I don't mean their butts (unless you're into that sort of thing

I joke, I joke). Anyway, do you?

I did the other day, to her side because she was in a sniffing mood, I guess. Of course, she looked at me like, "What are you doing, human? That's MY job," with a follow-up lick

Oh sure!! I've always sniffed my dogs. I love the smell on the top of their heads.

There is also nothing like the smell of puppy breath, and those cute little feet.

I always give the inside of their ears a sniff...it's a good way to know if there is any infection brewing. The nose can tell you a lot about your dogs health. A stinky dog could have a skin infection, or eating a poor diet.

I never knew about the ear thing until the other day. I like her smell, especially after her bath, but that's kind of a task for me. She likes water, but she doesn't. I'm not sure if it's because of how she was introduced to it as a pup or what. We followed the advice of a trainer, but I don't think it turned out so well 😐. But anyway, she does get wet. I used to not like the smell of dogs, but there's something about her smell that I just fall in love with. She lays there and lets me sniff away, looking at me like I'm a weirdo 😂🐾."
