Well, I'm new to this site, and need some support. I have three Rotties, all the same breed, sure. But all very different in their own way.

My favorite is "Nala" a 5 yr. old female. She and I are very close, and let me tell of two things in the past year that have occured to prove my point. We have had her since her birth, during that time I have dreamed about her only once. I was dreaming that she was dying, I awoke to not find her beside me in bed as she usaully is. I got up and started to look for her and found her under a table in the living room starting to eat chocolate coins she had swiped from the dining room table.

The second thing was when I underwent knee surgery. Mywife and sonreturned home after I got out or recovery to findNala at home limping on her right rear leg.

She continued untill my return three days later. Now the support I requested. I know that if you are reading this you know what special dogs rotties are. I do. As I write this "Nala" in undergoing surgery to have her left leg removed due to bone cancer. I ask not for anything but a few words of encouargement from other rottie owners that she will be ok...I"M SO AFRAID!!!!

Ampution is a big thing,I know of two other people who have done this.

I hope that everything goes great and that she adjusts to being a tri pod

and that they get all the cancer.

I hope all goes well and my prayers are with you and Nala. My rott had some tumors removed from his leg a year ago. It's very stressful not only for you but your dog also. We will keep you in our prayers and keep us posted on how everthing goes.

My husband and i have a 7 year old female Rottie, her name is Boo. She has a very close relationship with my husband and has saved his life a few times by pawing him until he starts to breath (he has sleep apnea) She also knows when he is sick even if he doesn't. She is going in for the same surgery your Nala is having tomorrow morning. They will be removing her right front leg. It breaks my heart. But we know with the care we can give her and the adjuvant therapy she will be getting, she will be fine and i am saying prayers that your special Nala will be fine also.
