Ok I am NOT used to " lil " yappers .....

Here's the problem ...... ( or not ) .....

I am the proud owner of a one hundred twenty pound rottweiler ( male )

And to him the rougher the better .... I dont know about anyone else

but when i pat my boy he pushes back .... I am used to one hundred

twenty pounds pushung back .... so when i pat him its more like hitting

him ... you know sorta rough ..... all the pushing and patting .....

Does anyone else have this with there rott ???

But anyways heres what happened ..... I was asked to go home

with this woman .... i said only if sampson was going too .... she

said no problem i have a dog too ..... OK FINE ..... so here we go

when we get there she has this million year old boxer ???? .....

Well alls going good with the kids ( right ) .... then this boxer ????

comes over to me ..... and ole mr. jelous himself has to get in

between us ... well then the patting begins ..... as soon as i patted

her " lil " dog ..... its leggs went right out from under him ....

well now its lying on the floor whining .... And the woman comes

running in ...... " oh no " ...... thats when the date ????? ended ......

I HATE " lil " DOGS .... they get you in trouble .....

He is ok ..... just cant patt him like you would a rottweiler !!!!

and we will be trying that again .... only without ( her ) dog .....

Wish I knew her address. I'd send Dylan down there to her just so he could stand between the two of you

I had the same problem (kind of)Not on a date or anything like that.

I am use to training and correcting Rottweilers.Well a few years back I got a Toy Fox Terrier (don't ask it's too long).I wanted to train him for Obed just to try something different(can you see where this is going?don't start laughing yet let me finish). He are doing pretty good for a little guy then I made a u turn and he didn't so I gave him what I thought was a small correction to get him back into heel and he passed me right up.

I felt bad for the little guy and decieded training a TFT was not for me.

I play quite ruff with the girls, I have to because they just push me around when im on the floor! Ritchie is even worse than me he throws them around and they just love it. I do tend to tone it down for other peoples dogs though, can tell from the looks I get when playing with my two that they think I am mistreating them, would probably break anything smaller than a rottie knowing my luck!

When I pat mine yes I pat kinda hard . Their Rotts ! My hubby and kids are the ones who ruff house's with them . I really don't cause I'm the one who trains them and I don't feel that I should and besides that they would get the best of me ! I'm only 5ft 2 and 115 lbs and they all weigh more then me !!! I do play with them in the yard but I don't get down on the ground with them and play .

So Dan you got a little dog showing you the door ey ? Remember you can't be ruff with the lady either she won't like it ....
treat her like a little puppy rott !
I can just see it now the little guy flying acrossed the room and the look on her face
