HI warren, their not bad dogs , they just get bad owners. I'm Shell, i have a 15 month old rottie named Dallas(we call her Dally). Glad to have you here.
Hi Warren, I know what you mean about the bad press rotties get and they don't deserve it. My names gemma and i have a 5year old rottie called star. She was a rescue dog as well. she'd been starved as a pup and beaten, the peeps who had her had let their japanese acita (i think thats how you spell it any way) attack her in the end they dumped her out side a rescue center and left her for dead. Her name used to be storm but after alotof hard work her temprement changed so the peepsat the centre changed her name to star. Star's been with me now for 5 years she's probabley not 5 a bit older the center had her for 6months of her life. stars a very loving dog but only towards me and has a very temprementle attuide towrds other people. But i couldn't be with out her she's my baby girl and i love her to bits. But hey Welcome.
Rottweilers will always have a bad rep but the last person who had a coment to make about my dog and her breed soon quitened down when i asked her if it was a person would she be so racist, and not another word was said. the oter thing i say if people say anything to me anbout how bad rotties are menttobe is that they used a rottie as a rescue dog on september 11. Which was actually shown an tv, which did actually suprise me, but they did. But as people have already said its all down to how it is brought up.
